Jan Vide, the new mega Slovenian basketball talent who has been delivering stellar performances for the junior team of Real Madrid, will reportedly be joining superstar Luka Dončić in the US. His first chapter in the land of opportunity will be with UCLA in the NCAA student league.

Referring to the American media outlet ESPN as a source, the Spanish paper Marca has reported that the 18-year-old, who has been with Real's U18 team since 2020, will leave Spain at the end of the season for UCLA, the university that holds a record 11 NCAA basketball champion titles.

The 197-centimetre-tall point guard was recently crowned the junior EuroLeague finals MVP after helping Real win the U18 championship with an average of 21.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4 assists. What are huge numbers for European basketball came after he led the FIBA U17 World Cup in scoring last summer at over 20 points per game.
