Petrol Group Ups Profit to EUR 41.9M
EBITDA for the first nine months of 2012 is estimated to have totalled EUR 97.7 million, up 7% from the same period of 2011, Petrol said in a preliminary earnings report.
The group around Slovenia's biggest fuel retailer is estimated to have sold 1.9 million tonnes of petroleum products in the January-September period, up 9% from the same period last year.
Revenues from sales of merchandise are estimated at EUR 356.8 million, which is 9% more than in the same period of 2011.
The group also sold 77.2 million cubic meters of natural gas, up 6% from the first nine months of 2011, and over 47,000 tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas, an increase of 19% year-on-year.
The sale of electricity was also up, surging 134% to 1.9 TWh.
At the end of September 2012, the Petrol Group operated 461 service stations, of which 315 in Slovenia, 91 in Croatia, 37 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, eight in Serbia, five in Montenegro and just as many in Kosovo.
