For the coastal area Enviromental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia issued second level of flood warning and for the areas of Kamniška Bistrica river, Ljubljanica river and Krka river the third level of flood warnings.

At the same time hydrologists warn that the water from floded areas is withdrawing slower than usual due to melting snow. For all roads in the alpine part of Slovenia over cca eight hundred meters above sea level winter equipment is required.
