On Sunday the rain in western Slovenia will spread to central part of the country, local storms are also possible. In eastern part will remain mostly dry.

The highest intensity of the rain is expected in the night on Monday. The rain/snow limit will be high in the mountains, above 2300 meters. The showers are expected to be strongest in the west, where the Environmental Agency has issued severe weather warning due to the possibility of flooding as around 100-150 litres of rain fall per square metre.

The agency has also warned of the possibility of coastal flooding in the night to Saturday caused by high tide.
