Estimated earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) reached EUR 63m, which is almost level with last year's figure and 2% above plans.

Almost the same applies to earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA), which amounted to EUR 198m, while the EBITDA margin slightly exceeded 33%.

The group generated an estimated EUR 595m in operating revenue in the first three quarters, which is down 4% year-on-year, but still in line with expectations, Telekom said on the web site of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Friday.

Despite the tough economic conditions, the group allocated almost EUR 61m for investments in the first nine months, which is 22% more year-on-year. It mostly invested in the network, infrastructure, and new services.
