The game was virtually decided at the end of the second quarter, when the guests opened a 15-point gap.

Olimpija came within six points in the final quarter after a series of three-point shots but it lost three plays and Real scored seven points to seal the deal.

Dylan Page was the top scorer for Olimpija with 22 points and Jaka Blažič added 14.

Halfway through the group stage Olimpija is now in last place in group a with a 1:4 record, while Real is on top with 4:1.

In round 6 Olimpija will play Italy's Mapooro Cantu, the only team it has beaten so far.
