The lowest turnout was recorded in Maribor, where it stood at 32.24%, while Ljubljana Centre saw the highest turnout with 38.8%.

The highest 4 PM turnout in the five presidential elections since Slovenia gained independence in 1991 was recorded in 1992, when it was 69.8%, while the figure dropped with each election that followed. In 1997 it was 68.29%, in 2002 57.05% and in 2007 35.7%.

A total of 246,465 people had voted until 11 AM, which made for 14.39% of all registered voters, the lowest morning turnout in a presidential ballot to date.

According to Frantar, there have been no reports of any problems at polling stations.
