Other expected major topics of the talks will be Serbia's path towards the EU in the context of this year's report of the European Commission on Serbia's progress, multilateral and regional cooperation and the situation in the Western Balkans.

The Slovenian side is to confirm its interest to further strengthen bilateral ties and political dialogue between the two countries. It is moreover to get acquainted with Serbia's key reforms needed for progress in EU talks.

Dačić and Janša are to address the press after the meeting, while the Serbian PM will also meet President Danilo Türk and Parliament Speaker Gregor Virant. He will sign with Interior Minister Vinko Gorenak an agreement between the two governments on police cooperation.

Dačić's stops in Ljubljana will include the Serb orthodox church and Serbian IT company ComTrade. He will moreover visit household appliance maker Velenje on Thursday.

Dačić already visited Slovenia several times in recent years in the capacity of the interior minister.
