NATO Army Drilll over Slovenia
The exercise, aimed at examining the operative capabilities of the sixteenth Slovenian battalion for the surveillance of the air space, started on Monday.
As part of the warfare simulation, four Slovenian Pilatus aircrafts will assume the role of intruders while two of Italy's Eurofighters and a couple of Hungary's Gripens will be the interceptors.
A manoeuvre of an emergency landing will also be carried out at the Ljubljana airport. Three planes will simultaneously approach the runway but only one will land, while the other two will merely fly it over.
The military planes will fly over central Slovenia at the height of 6,000-8,000 metres on Tuesday between 9 AM and 11 AM and 2 PM and 4 PM, and between 9 AM and noon on Wednesday and Thursday.
