The Slovenian team had no real chance to pull off a surprise victory against the Turkish favourites and have squandered all but the very theoretical chances to advance into the second stage of the tournament.

After five defeats and only two victories this seasons, Union Olimpija now lag two losses behind fourth place, which is the last and final train for advancing into the next stage of the Euroleague.

In round 8 on 29 November Olimpija will play Greece's Panathinaikos Athens.
