The Slovenian Ski Association (SZS) has started the presale of tickets for the upcoming 2024/25 World Cup winter sports events in Slovenia. It has also introduced a combined ticket for top five events.

This season, Slovenia will host six major World Cup events across five locations, staring in early January with the women's alpine skiing races in Kranjska Gora.

Next up will be the snowboarders, competing at Rogla on 25 January. On 15 and 16 February, Ljubno ob Savinji will once again welcome the world's top female ski jumpers, likely again with crowds numbering in the thousands.

March will see three more World Cup events. On 1 and 2 March, Kranjska Gora will host the men's alpine skiing slalom and giant slalom. From 13 to 16 March, Pokljuka will be the venue for the biathlon World Cup, and from 27 to 30 March, Planica will host the season finale of the men's ski jumping World Cup, another spectator magnet.

The SZS unveiled a special combined ticket for five of the major events it organises, available for a limited time and quantity here at €39.90 .

The ticket grants access to both skiing events in Kranjska Gora, the ski jumping competitions for women in Ljubno and men in Planica, as well as the biathlon in Pokljuka.

In total, the SZS will host nine events this season. Alongside the major ones, telemark skiers will compete for points at Krvavec from 6 to 8 March. Slovenia will also host the Para Biathlon World Championship from 5 to 9 February at Pokljuka, and the Para Alpine Skiing World Cup in Kranjska Gora from 4 to 6 March.

"The SZS is proudly entering a new strategic phase, in which connecting is one of our core values. I believe that with today's launch, we've already made some strides in fostering collaboration.

"Even more importantly, we are announcing a unified, single ticket for all events under the SZS and are truly putting this key value of linking-up into practice," SZS director Uroš Zupan said at the launch event in Ljubljana on 22 October.
