Slovenia's Export Shows Signs of Recovery

In October, exports were up 6.4% year-on-year to EUR 1.906bn, while imports increased by 3% to EUR 1.968bn. The export-import ratio was 96.8%.

Slovenia exported EUR 1.319bn worth of goods or 69.2% of all exports to EU countries in October. Imports from those markets amounted to EUR 1.486bn or 75.5% of all imports.

Exports to non-EU markets amounted to EUR 586.5m and imports from those markets added up to EUR 481.5m in October.

In the first ten months of the year Slovenia exported EUR 17.546bn worth of goods and imported EUR 18.437bn. The trade gap amounted to EUR 890.9m.
