Hypo Leasing will hand the management of 300,000 square metres of shopping centres in Maribor, Ptuj, Kranj, Novo mesto, Nova Gorica, Kamnik, Krško and Škofja Loka to BTC in order to optimise cost efficiency.

According to the press release by the two companies, Hypo Leasing expects BTC to constantly upgrade the services in the centres and increase their competitiveness.

Moreover, Hypo Leasing general manager Danijel Novak wrote the contract would strengthen the bridge between the two companies with different activities - the broad spectrum of financial services and shopping centre management.

The contract is a step forward in the solid business ties between BTC and Hypo Group Alpe Adria which were established when the bank provided long-term financing for the construction of a new business skyscraper in Ljubljana's BTC district.
