Surprising result in downhill came partially as a result of changeable weather conditions. The start of today's race was postponed until 2PM local time due to a strong snow and fog. The majority of racers started in fog and light snow but weather improved slightly after number 30. However, Perko showed a good form already in Friday's Super G when he finished 16th.

Andrej Šporn today finished 17th and Boštjan Kline 27th.
