Irish EU Presidency Supporting Croatian Accession

Any issue that Slovenia may have with Croatia or the other way around must be solved bilaterally, she told the press, commenting on the developments in the Slovenian-Croatian relations around the issue of Croatian savers in the Zagreb branch of Slovenia's defunct LB bank.

Croatia is scheduled to join the EU on 1 July 2013, a day after Ireland hands over the EU presidency to Lithuania, but needs a timely ratification of its accession treaty in all EU member states.
