Slovenia Strongly Against Gas Terminals In Trieste Gulf
Talking to the press at the side of the EU Environment Council in Brussels, Belgium, the minister would not provide any further details about the decisions adopted at government's last session.
He said however that he talked today to his counterpart Corrado Clini, who assured him that Italy will not issue any construction permits until the government examines the effects on the environment of the gas terminal's three structures: the gas terminal, the pipeline and the off-shore terminal.
Bogovič said he was happy with this promise. He also expressed satisfaction with the decision that he and Clini will meet at the beginning of 2013 to discuss water management in the northern Adriatic Sea.
