Scoring her fifth victory this season, Maze remains undefeated in giant slalom competition. Slovenia's Ana Drev was also very good on tenth place, crossing the finish line 2.96 seconds after Maze. Other Slovenians dropped out.

Tina Maze now leads in World Cup standing with amazing 331 points in front of Maria Hoefl Riesch from Germany.
