The rally is the latest in a string of protests organised over Facebook and aimed against the Slovenian political establishment. Similar protests are expected in Maribor, Nova Gorica, Ajdovščina and Ptuj.
Organised under the banner "We demand political elites to step down", the Ljubljana rally will begin at 3 PM at the Square of the Republic in front of the parliament building. Over 11,000 people have announced attendance at the protest's Facebook page.

"It is not about the left or the right (politicians), it is about Slovenia which is permanent property of the citizens of this country," the organisers say on their Facebook page.

The Ljubljana protest will not be the only rally taking place today, as people are also expected to take to the streets in Ajdovščina (W), Ptuj (NE), Nova Gorica (W) and Maribor (NE).
