No significant changes in 2013 compared to 2012 were forecast by 27.8%, while 27.2% said they expect things to improve next year.

Delo's in-house pollster Delo Stik moreover quizzed people about their main values, finding out that health, family happiness, peace and safety, and material security continue to top the list. Following are career success and democracy, which have gained a little in comparison with last year.

The survey on the other hand established changing habits in the celebration of New Year's eve, as the share of those who plan to stay at home, 71.1%, is the lowest so far. 10.3% will visit friends or relatives, 4.4% will go to mass events and 3.1% will spend New Year's abroad.

The poll was conducted on 17 and 18 December and included 401 respondents.
