Tina Maze 2nd In Munich New Year Spectacle

Tina Maze expanded her lead in overall FIS World Cup standings to almost 500 points as her main "rivals" Kathrin Zettel from Austria and Maria Hoefl-Riesch finished much earlier in the event collecting just few points.

In men's race German Neureuther, a specialist of sorts after finishing second in a similar event in Moscow a year ago, used the support of 15,000 fans in Munich's Olympic Park to upstage Austrian World Cup holder Marcel Hirscher in the final of the parallel slalom competition.

We can expect new interesting competition this weekend in Sljeme (Croatia) where Tina will attacking new win.
