Yield on Slovenian Bonds Drops Below 5%
The lower yield on Slovenian long-term debt comes amidst a general easing of tensions in the eurozone.
The finance ministry said the pressure on Slovenian yields was reduced also as a result of the Constitutional Court banning referendums on legislation setting up a bad bank and a sovereign holding.
In early September, the Slovenian ten-year bond yield peaked above the 7% mark with the spreads over German bunds as high as 564 basis points.
