Slovenia's Exports Exceed Imports in November

In the first eleven months of 2012, exports grew by 1% year-on-year to EUR 19.32bn, while imports fell by 1.7% to EUR 20.29bn.

The trade gap in the January-November period amounted to EUR 871.1m and the export-import ratio stood at 95.7%.

EU countries remain the most important trade partners for Slovenia. In November, they accounted for 70% of the total exports (EUR 1.3bn) and 74.6% of the total imports (EUR 1.37bn).

Slovenian companies exported EUR 560m worth of goods to non-EU countries in November, while imports from outside the EU amounted to EUR 465.4m.
