Overall World Cup leader, Maze finished the race in 1:16.55, 0.04 seconds ahead of Anna Fenninger of Austria and 0.99 seconds ahead Fabienne Suter of Switzerland.

The fate places Maze in the elite club of winners in all five disciplines along with Lindsey Vonn of the US, Austria's Petra Kromberger, Sweden's Pernilla Wiberg and Anja Pärson and Croatia's Janica Kostelić.

"Unbelievable, I'm speechless. I was confident I can win because I've been skiing really well this season. It's great to be in this prestigious club," Maze said after her 17th career World Cup victory.

With her sixth win and 13th podium finish this season, Maze has further extended her overall World Cup lead and is nearing the record 2000 points scored by the Austrian ace Hermann Meier.

She currently has 1289 points, 545 points ahead of runner-up Maria Höfl Riesch of Germany, who placed 5th today (+1.09), a spot behind Crystal Globe defender Vonn (+1.00).

The women's World Cup circuit continues on Tuesday with a slalom night race in Flachau.
