Center of Excellence PoliMaT is organizing a Biopolymer Workshop, Harnessing the power of biopolymers for improving human wellbeing and enhancing global competitiveness, together with Jomo Kenyatta University for Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT, Kenya) and in cooperation with Science Technology and Globalization Project at Harvard Kennedy School. The lecturers and mentors will come from CE PoliMaT, JKUAT, Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Austen BioInnovation Institute (ABIA), and Biotechnology Center of Excellence Corporation (all USA), VDI/VDE-IT (Germany), and the Polymer Competence Center Leoben (Austria).

The Workshop will focus on current advancements in biopolymer research and implications for industry, public policy and international science and technology cooperation and explore their relevance for addressing the global challanges in Kenya
