Hidria CEO Iztok Seljak underlined that this feat was an exceptional recognition for Hidria and its entire team, the company said in a press release.

Being short-listed proves that Hidria's philosophy, which is based on values and continuous development, is very successful, added Seljak.

The European Business Awards have been handed out since 2007. Last year, more than 150,000 companies, generating together 8.23% of EU's GDP and employing 2.7 million of people, vied for the award.

Hidria presented to an international jury its comprehensive approach and the concept of innovative models that include everything from development of growth strategy and the development of new business models, to ties with partners and integration in the local environment.
