The meeting with Patel held in New Delhi focused on cooperation possibilities in logistics and traffic. Žerjav said that the Ljubljana airport could serve as gateway to Europe for an Indian air carrier, the Economy Ministry said in a press release.

Žerjav also told Patel that Koper was the biggest port in northern Adriatic. Patel was invited to come to Slovenia, which he accepted and is likely to visit in the final quarter of the year.

Meeting Chatterjee in Calcutta, Žerjav was very pleased with his interest in Slovenia. The West Bengal minister believes Slovenia's location is one of the country's key advantages, providing an excellent gateway to Europe.

Chatterjee also believes the countries could cooperate in the field of film industry. He mentioned Maribor as a potential film location.

On Wednesday evening, Žerjav and Slovenian business representatives accompanying him took part in a Slovenia-West Bengal business conference.

Energy, car industry, logistics, green technologies, information and communication technology and tourism were singled out as the most promising fields of cooperation.
