President Invites Party Leaders to Meeting
According to the president's office, the meeting would focus on finding an agreement on joint and responsible actions for issues important to Slovenia and its people in a time of political uncertainty.
Pahor had announced the meeting in late January. At the time he also stated that he would not be searching for a new prime minister in the wake of the break-up of the five-party ruling coalition.
The meeting will be taking place as the opposition parties and the coalition Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) and People's Party (SLS) look for agreement on putting forward a vote of no-confidence against the government by proposing an alternate prime minister.
