Attending the event were the representatives from the 'British House' in Slovenia namely, HM Ambassador to Slovenia, Mr. Andrew Page, Director of the British Council Mr. James Hampson and BCCS President, Mr. Kevin Morrison.  With its positive and active function BCCS contributes to business and social sphere. It uses positive lobbying as a tool to achieve concrete results and stays politically correct in every sense. 

British Chamber of Commerce in Slovenia (BCCS) is otherwise quite new but very active in Slovenia, it was established four years ago. Its purpose is promotion of economic relations between both countries, including members of other countries as well. The mail goal of BCCS with its headquarter in Ljubljana is introduction and support of business results to British business people in Slovenia and to Slovenian business people in Great Britain. BCCS is doing very well in networking among different companies and is aware of importance of networking in general. It successfully cooperates with Summit Avto d.o.o. (the representative of Land Rover and Jaguar in Slovenia) and Hotel Slon, among others. BCCS organizes many events, mostly in Hotel Slon, although it cooperates with other hotels in Slovenia as well.

BCCS as basic connection between both countries connects industrial and trade companies from Slovenia, Great Britain and other countries. It gains new members and promotes good relations between countries. It organizes many very different thematic events and is active on the field of preventing corruption.  With its positive and active function BCCS contributes to business and social sphere. It uses positive lobbying  as a tool to achieve concrete results and stays politically correct in every sense.
