The first meeting between Pahor and Josipović since the new Slovenian president took office in late December will be held on the margins of a ceremonial assembly of the academy.

At the event, both presidents will be conferred the status of protectors of the academy, while they are scheduled to hold their meeting on the margins of the event and give a press statement.

Since taking office, Pahor first visited EU institutions in Brussels in January. On 6 February, he paid an official visit to Austria.
