SLS head Radovan Žerjav confirmed for the press that he was resigning as economic development and technology minister and Franc Bogovič as agriculture and environment minister.

The SLS, which has been calling for Janša's resignation, already decided on 12 February it would not join a potential new left-leaning government. While seeing the need for an early election, it announced it would act as a constructive opposition party.
