All safety systems functioned properly. The personnel are monitoring the event along with a task force at the Nuclear Safety Administration.

An investigation is currently under way and the situation is under control, Andrej Stritar, the head of the Nuclear Safety Administration, told the STA.

It is as yet unclear when the power plant will be reconnected to the grid.
