Bratušek will take over from Janez Janša in a handover ceremony in the morning, while other ministers will assume duties from their predecessors throughout the day.

The first session of the new cabinet will be held at noon.

Bratušek's 14-member cabinet was confirmed on Thursday with 52 votes for and 35 against in the National Assembly.
