The 13-strong delegation will present their companies to Chinese businessmen in Shanghai on Tuesday as part of a business forum dubbed Slovenia - Logistic Platform for Central and Eastern Europe.

The business officials will also have a number of bilateral meetings, which are being organised by the GZS in cooperation with its partner chamber in Shanghai.

The delegation will also meet the management of the Shanghai port operator, visit the new part of the port and meet the Slovenian business community in China. Part of the delegation will in addition hold talks with the Shanghai customs authorities.

The visit is part of a campaign to promote the Slovenian transport and logistics industry in China, which was launched in Malaysia and Singapore in November 2009 and resumed in China and Hong Kong in June 2010 and in India in November 2010.
