Celje Dairy Generates EUR 57m in Revenues
"The business results are in line with the plan. 70% of the revenues were made on the domestic market and 30% on foreign markets," its manager Marjan Jakob has told the STA.
Last year, the company focussed its production on fermented products, semi-hard cheeses, and milk for consumption, and bought 93 million litres of milk.
Jakob has also announced several major investments, which are to be completed this autumn and are worth EUR 1.8m.
He said his company would change its image over the next few years, as they have become the country's largest dairy in Slovenian ownership practically overnight.
The country's leader Ljubljanske mlekarne is being taken over by Croatia's Dukat.
