According to the embassy, this will be the first time in Slovenia for the Earl of Wessex (49), the youngest child of Queen Elisabeth II and the only one of her children who has not visited the country.

Queen Elisabeth II was in Slovenia with her husband Prince Philip in 2008, Prince Charles visited the country in 1998, Prince Andrew in 2007 and Anne, Princess Royal, in 1996.
