Slovenia's Exports Up 1.2%
The trade gap was at EUR 272.6m, while the import to export ratio stood at 95.1% in the first quarter.
Data for march show that exports exceeded imports by EUR 10.5m, with the ratio amounting to 100.6%.
Slovenia exported EUR 1.884bn worth of goods in March, which was 2.3% less than in March 2012. Imports amounted to EUR 1.873bn, which was an 8.3% drop over the same month last year.
In March, exports to EU countries amounted to EUR 1.291bn, which accounted for 68.6% of all exports. Imports from EU members were worth EUR 1.377bn or 73.5% of all imports.
Exports to non-EU members amounted to EUR 592.3m, while imports were at EUR 495.9m.
