According to a press release from the president's office, Pahor and Grabus enjoyed an "open and hearty" conversation about the hundred-year presence of Muslims on the Slovenian territory, giving special stress to the fact that a mosque had already been built in Slovenia in Log pod Mangartom (NW) in 1916, but was demolished right after WWI.

Grabus told the president that the Islamic community in Slovenia, which has long been waiting for a cultural centre in Ljubljana, plans to construct the mosque in the Slovenian capital as a replica of the Log pod Mangartom mosque.
