June Plenary Dedicated to Changes to Judicial Services Act

During Monday's Q&A, BratuĊĦek and her cabinet is expected to be quizzed about a variety of topics, including the proposed real estate tax, the network of Slovenian diplomatic missions abroad, court backlogs, government measures to help Slovenian companies and plans to reduce the number of municipalities.

On Tuesday, lawmakers will have five hours dedicated to amendments to the judicial service act aimed at boosting efficiency of judiciary, while changes to the courts act and the scholarship act are also on the agenda.

Wednesday's agenda includes the law introducing a two-year transitional period for Croatian workers and technical changes to the financial conglomerates act, the banking act and the insurance act that transpose the latest EU directives.

Three hours of debate are also allocated to changes to the cableway installations and ski lifts act which are to simplify administrative procedures in ski lift construction.

Also on Wednesday, deputies will debate changes to the National Assembly working bodies and an act on expanding the parliamentary inquiry into the banking system.

On the final day of the July plenary, MPs will debate changes to the takeovers act and the act governing the rescue and restructuring aid for companies in difficulty, both of which will be debated in fast-track procedure.

Also on the agenda is a debate on changes to the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry act dealing with mode of membership and a draft resolution on nuclear and radiation safety the 2013-2023 period.
