Google's cars mounted with 360-degree cameras are expected to begin the driving in Ljubljana and then continue to Maribor and other larger cities and towns.

If time allows, they will also collect images of smaller cities along the coast and other tourist attractions, Google said.

To protect privacy, Google will publish a general driving schedule at http://google.si/streetview and blur faces and licence plates appearing in the images.

Users will also be able to report errors or request additional blurring.
