The value of construction works dropped 2.5% in June year-on-year and it was 16.7% lower in the first six months compared to the same period last year, show figures released on Wednesday.

The value of buildings constructed in June dropped 15.2% on the previous month, whereas the value of civil engineering projects rose 3.3%.

The comparison for the first six months of the year shows a 33% decline in building construction and a 5% drop in the value of civil engineering constructions.
