The company sold six million lights last year and made a net profit of EUR 6.7m, nearly double that in 2011.

The number of employees increased to over 900 from 700 in a single year, according to Holeczek.

A part of the German Odelo group, the company has recently received the Automotive Lean Production Award 2013 for mid-sized companies.

Holeczek describe the accolade as a result of the persistent introduction of "lean culture" in the company.
