According to POP TV, the municipality sold with Janković's knowledge two land plots which were not in its ownership for more than EUR 1m. It has refused to return the money despite numerous calls to do so.

One of the three reportedly charged officials is Miran Gajšek, the head of the spatial planning department of the municipality.

The two plots in Vojkova Street measuring a total of 1,648 sq metres have been owned since 1976 by several entities, including the Ministry of Defence and company PNZ, POP TV said.

When the buyer, company Tritonis, wanted to build a garage and offices there, it found out that the plots are not the property of the municipality. An unsuccessful attempt at settlement was made at the beginning of the year.
