Heating oil is 0.7 cents cheaper at EUR 0.988 a litre, according to fuel retailer OMV Slovenija.

The government increased the excise duty for diesel fuel from EUR 399.30 to EUR 404.88 per 1,000 litres, and the excise duty for heating oil from EUR 81.60 to EUR 86.91 per 1,000 litres, the Government Communication Office said after the cabinet's correspondence session.

Fuel prices in Slovenia are adjusted fortnightly in line with a pricing model factoring in the price of oil derivatives on global markets and the exchange rate of the US dollar.
