Govt Approves EUR 8M Innovation Incentive for Hella Saturnus
Hella Saturnus is to establish a new task force of electronics experts and a development and competence centre for car lighting systems. The government has placed the project in the development programme plan 2013-2016, the Government Communication Office (UKOM) said in a press release.
The company will set up a new development laboratory, which will be used for testing products through their whole life cycle.
Agroruše, which is undergoing court-mandated debt restructuring, was given a EUR 800,000 loan for a period of six months, during which the Ruše-based company will prepare a restructuring plan.
The company, which is under a serious threat of bankruptcy, asked for the loan in June. The launch of bankruptcy proceedings and possible wounding up of the company would affect the economic and social situation in the north-eastern region of Podravje, UKOM explained.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Technology has assessed that the company has a healthy production core which could be restructured and preserved.
