Tepeš was third after the first run with a 134.5m jump and thus kept the ranking. Other Slovenian jumpers failed to crack the top 20.

Tepeš's podium finish comes after a surprise win for Slovenia in the team event in Klingenthal on Saturday.

The next ski jumping World Cup event will take place on Friday in Finland's Kuusamo.
