The amount of goods transported in the first nine months was up 4.2% to 12.66m tonnes and the number of passengers increased by 9.4% to 12.34m.

The growth also continued in October, making for a 5.6% increase in goods transported to 14.3m tonnes. Passenger figures increased to 13.7m in the first ten months, according to the first estimates

Total group operating revenue in the January-October period is estimated to be 10% higher than in the first ten months last year.
