Dijsselbloem made the comment ahead of today's meeting of the Eurogroup finance ministers, where Slovenia was represented by Finance Ministry State Secretary Mitja Mavko.

Mavko briefed the eurogroup ministers on the situation in Slovenia ahead of the results of bank stress tests, which are expected on Thursday.

Asked what he expected from today's meeting, Dijsselbloem said he did not expect a substantial debate on Slovenia. "We're waiting for the results of the bank tests," he said.

Finance Minister Uroš Čufer cancelled attendance at today's ministerial due to illness, according to the Finance Ministry.

Speaking to the press after the meeting, Dijsselbloem said Slovenia reiterated the position that it can deal with the outcome of bank stress tests without external help.
