Second place at today's breaststroke event went to Giacomo Perez Dortoma (26.55 seconds) of France, while bronze went to Barry Murphy of Ireland (26.56 seconds).

Also swimming for Slovenia was Peter John Stevens, who came in fifth, swimming the 50 metres in 26.64 seconds.

Dugonjić already won the bronze in the 100 metre breaststroke competition yesterday, whne he swam the course in 57.24 seconds, lagging behind Hungarian Daniel Gyurta (57.08 seconds) and Germany's Marco Koch (57.14 seconds).
