Consumer Confidence Higher in December


The value of this indicator increased by 6 percentage points over the previous month, the Statistics Office said Monday.

Four of the six indicators used to gauge consumer expectations rose in December over the month before, as did two of the four indicators reflecting consumers' opinion on the current situation.

For the entire 2013, the average value of the consumer confidence indicator was 2 percentage points above the average value for 2012.
