Croatian police officers, in uniforms but unarmed, are to provide until 16 January help with obtaining information and translating, the press was told at Rogla.

Presently as many as 60% of the guests at Rogla come from Croatia, Krunoslav Borovec of the Croatian Police Administration has pointed out.

Srečko Jarc of the Slovenian uniformed police administration praised last year's cooperation as exemplary, saying that it was also met very positively by Croatian skiers.

The cooperation is the result of a memorandum between the two police administrations and also includes Slovenian police helping out in Croatia at the sea side during the summer; two Slovenian officers were serving for a month in Croatia last summer.
